As a resident of Mesa County since 1984, Janet’s involvement in the community has included United Way, Kiwanis, Strong Families-Safe Kids, Build – A Generation, Caregivers Taskforce, Human Services Council, and the Early Childhood Partnership.
Prior to her election as County Commissioner, Janet was in private practice as a psychotherapist, specializing with children who had been victims of abuse. Janet also worked for Mesa County at the Fairgrounds and the Department of Human Services.
In addition to serving as a Mesa County Commissioner, Janet currently serves on many other boards/committees in varying capacities
