    The Arboretum is located along the south edge of the main parking lot. This demonstration

    and research garden is maintained by the Colorado State University Extension Office.

  •  Amphitheater

    The Arboretum includes a small amphitheater which can seat up to 200 people. It can be used for environmental and educational programs. Contact the CSU Extension Office for more information.

    The Arboretum is a garden utilized for demonstration and research of local ornamental grasses, shrubs, and trees. This "living library" is a space where plant lovers, school groups, and others can come to learn more about native Western Colorado and Eastern Utah plants. A walking path (wheelchair friendly) meanders through the gardens and leads to a small outdoor amphitheater. For additional information about the Aboretum, please contact the CSU Extension Office.
