Enforcement

Mesa County Animal Services provides enforcement for Mesa County and the City of Grand Junction.  Our officers are commissioned as agents for the Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Animal Protection.  Typically, any violations cited are based on the City Article or the County Resolution, however, dangerous dog or cruelty, abuse or neglect violations may be filed on State Statutes.
