Project Summary: Mesa County Public Works is soliciting qualification submittals and proposals from engineering firms interested in providing professional services for design, project management and preparation of construction contract documents for the Gardner Ave. Drainage Improvement Project
Pertinent features of this project include: The Gardner Ave Drainage Improvement Project will be a redesigning of the drainage on Gardner Ave. The improved drainage will need to incorporate all the residences and business along Gardner Ave. This design will not include any portions of 32 ½ Road or 32 5/8 Road and should not impact, change or redesign any parts of those two road section. Mesa County would like to collect all the stormwater coming from Gardner Ave. into the stormwater inlet located on 32 ½ Road. All work performed and proposed will need to be on Mesa County Right of Way.

Pertinent features of this project include: The Public Works Department of Mesa County is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Consultants interested in performing the necessary tasks to prepare improvement alternatives and develop detailed construction plans and specifications. Desirable qualifications include successful completion of planning and implementation of transportation facilities, successful coordination of public/private partnerships, and experience coordinating and meeting requirements of multiple financial sources such as Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Local Assistance, and Colorado Department of Transportation.
Project Summary: Mesa County Public Works is soliciting qualification submittals and proposals from firms interested in providing professional services the Mesa County Wetlands Banks Document.
Pertinent Information: Mesa County has begun implementation of the Wetlands Prospectus and Umbrella documents; the Pickup Ponds site approved under the County's Umbrella Banking Instrument (August, 2005). The Umbrella Banking Instrument and the Prospectus documents need to be updated to the 2008 USACE standards. The County would like to create a Wetlands Implementation Plan to make the Pickup Ponds a viable wetlands bank site. Topographic surveying and water elevation monitoring have taken place over the last several months in anticipation of implementation of this wetlands site. The County desires a qualified environmental advisor to develop a final implementation plan for the site. The final implementation plan shall include all construction plans, specifications, technical data and acquisition of all permits required to request construction bids for implement the final recontouring of the site, planting of vegetation and final establishment
