Project Summary:

The Public Works Department of Mesa County is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Consultants interested in performing the necessary tasks to prepare design alternatives and develop detailed construction documents for the preferred improvement alternative.

 Buzzard Creek Road is an existing gravel road near Collbran, Colorado.  The proposed project limits are approximately 2.75 miles long from 58.6 Road (Kimball Creek Road) to 58.9 Road. Buzzard Creek Road currently serves both residential and industrial traffic and is posted at 25 mph.  It is Mesa County’s intent to evaluate and design safety improvements for the corridor.
