Powderhorn Mountain Resort

Downhill mountain biking is a blast—but it's a different ride entirely from cross-country trails. Steeper descents, tighter corners, shifting terrain, and gravity doing most of the work mean a new set of skills, even for seasoned riders.

Their Certified Mountain Bike Instructors are here to help you ride safer, and with confidence. They offer lessons focused on foundational techniques like body positioning, braking control, line choice, and how to read terrain—all tailored to your ability and goals.

You can explore the Powderhorn Bike Park's 15 miles of scenic lift-accessed trails, ranging from smooth, beginner-friendly greens to flowy intermediate lines that help you level up. Every trail is a chance to fine-tune your technique and have fun while doing it. So whether you're chasing personal progression or just want to keep up with the kids, the Powderhorn team will make sure you're set up for success and stoked for every lap.
