Stage 2 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Commission responsibilities

  • Adopting the Master Plan and Master Plan Amendments.
  • Reviewing and making a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners regarding Land Development Code Amendments, Major Subdivisions, Planned Unit Developments, Conditional Use Permits, and Rezones.
  • Applications will be accepted until all vacancies are filled.

The Planning Commission is governed by the Planning Commission Bylaws.
