About the Fairgrounds

The mission of the Fairgrounds is to provide our citizens with a multi-use event facility.

We serve various interests in Mesa County and the Western Slope.

• Facility is a 93 acre multi-purpose special event facility located in Grand Junction, Colorado, approximately five miles from the city center.
• We host major ticketed events in the grandstands such as rodeos, circuses, concerts and more.
• Equestrian center features horse shows, roping competitions, and clinics.
• Indoor facilities are used for expos, trainings, wedding receptions and auctions.
• The complex also includes Little League ball fields, a BMX track, park areas, an arboretum and demonstration gardens.
• Facility is the home campus for the Tri-River CSU Extension Office, Mesa County 4-H, and hosts the annual Mesa County Fair each July.
