Family Events
May 2, 4 p.m.
Lunch Loop Trail Head
Ride from designated start points to the Monument Trail celebration at the Lunch Loop trail head to try out this new multi-modal addition, experience the chain breaking, and try different food trucks.
Join the group ride departing from outside City Hall at 3:20 p.m.

The new Intro to Mountain Biking class gives riders age 9-12 a chance to practice various riding techniques, shifting, braking, and navigating obstacles on the trail. They will also learn how to share local multi-use trails with hikers and runners.
Class meeting locations will vary and be shared via email prior to class.

Have a bike but don’t know what to do if it breaks? Whether you already own a bike and want to learn how to keep it in top condition, or you're in need of a bike to call your own, this clinic is perfect for you.

Sherwood Park
Learn about bike safety with the City of Grand Junction and the Regional Transportation Planning Office. Free for the whole family! First 600 kids receive a goodie bag.

Grand Junction Union Depot, Grand Junction
Come get a sneak peak of Grand Junction's former train station, while learning about historic restoration, the history of the railroad, and how bikes and trains can work together in the modern day.
Group Rides
May 12, 5:30 p.m.
Las Colonias Park, Grand Junction
Meet by the Western Colorado Botanical Garden. We will pedal the full Monument Connector, plus South Camp for the Redlands Loop.
Riders are welcome to join a post-ride social at Ramblebine following the ride.

Ride on over to City Hall in the morning to enjoy some free burritos, coffee, and more!
COPMOBA Dig Days
May 17, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
18 Road Trailhead North Fruita Desert, Fruita
Come help address maintenance issues at the North Fruita Desert. This session will be led by COPMOBA member John Howe.

Lunch Loops Monument Road, Grand Junction
Come help address maintenance issues at the Lunch Loops trails. This session will be led by Dirt Mermaids co-founder and COPMOBA member Sam Parker.
May 31 - June 1, 12 p.m. - 12 p.m.
18 Road Trailhead North Fruita Desert, Fruita, CO
Volunteers ages 14+ will help build the final segment of the North Fruita Desert Trail. VOC first assisted in the trail’s construction in 2022, and now we’re returning to complete the last 3-mile segment! Designed primarily for mountain bikers, the trail will also be open to hikers and horseback riders.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday, along with dinner on Saturday.
Bring your own dinner for Friday night and enough snacks for the weekend.
Free campsites are available on Friday and Saturday nights, and we recommend arriving at base camp before 8 PM on Friday.
