There are 31 confirmed cases of measles in Colorado, including 11 cases in Mesa County.

State health officials have confirmed four additional measles cases in Mesa County residents bringing our total to 11 confirmed cases. A public health investigation found these four were the first cases in Mesa County that started the outbreak in August 2025. Three were exposed to measles at an out-of-state event. The fourth was exposed by the three others. Since these four initial cases developed symptoms over two months ago, there is no current risk of exposure to the public.

Mesa County Public Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment are closely monitoring the situation in Colorado and in other states.
