The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Committee seeks dedicated and passionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact on the community.

The CSBG Committee is the driving force behind federal funding allocated to local organizations that combat poverty in our community. Their mission is clear: empower individuals, transform lives, and create lasting change. By focusing on critical areas such as employment, education, income management, housing, nutrition, emergency services, and health, they tackle poverty's root causes head-on.

Join us as a community representative and be the voice of change. Your unique perspective is vital whether you come from a business, law enforcement, education, religious organization, or any other interested group. As a community representative, you'll participate in quarterly meetings that typically last up to two hours. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to spend some extra time individually reviewing grant applications. Your commitment will make a difference!
