Meet the pets waiting for you at Mesa County Animal Services
Behind every wagging tail, curious whisker, and hopeful pair of eyes at Mesa County Animal Services (MCAS) is a story waiting for a happy ending, and it could start with you.
From playful puppies and gentle senior dogs to curious cats and the occasional snake or guinea pig, the shelter is full of personalities waiting to match with yours. Each time the door opens, they look up, ears perked, wondering if this is the moment their new life begins.
Maybe you’re an experienced pet owner ready to give a dog a life full of adventure. Maybe you’re looking for a loyal companion to curl up with on quiet evenings. Or maybe you’re a parent hoping to teach your kids the joy and responsibility of caring for another life.
No matter your lifestyle or level of experience, MCAS has a pet that’s perfect for you. Every animal has its own quirks and charms, just like we do, and somewhere in our shelter is one that will feel like family the moment you meet. Stop by during business hours, spend time getting to know them, and see which one you can’t imagine leaving behind.
The love, safety, and connection you can give will far surpass what some of these animals have ever known. Adoption fees are $120 for dogs and $95 for cats, and include spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, a Mesa County dog license and a wellness check, not to mention years of unconditional love and friendship.
When you adopt, you’re not just rescuing an animal, you’re changing two lives, theirs and yours.
Start your search for a new best friend today. Browse adoptable pets or visit MCAS in person to meet them face-to-face.
