Did you know your daily newspaper can become a haven for the animals in Mesa County? Mesa County Animal Services, 971A Coffman Road, desperately needs your old newspapers to provide comfort and cleanliness to animals, and your donations could make a big difference in the lives of local shelter animals.

“We constantly need newspapers,” Animal Services Manager Doug Frye said. “Anyone willing to donate old newspapers can drop them off at our office. We are open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.”

Animal Services constantly struggles to get enough papers from staff and supporters to line crates and catch waste from puppies who still need to learn good potty habits. Your old newspaper is precisely what the animals need to feel clean and cared for during their stay at the shelter.

Mesa County Animal Services appreciates your continued support in caring for the animals of Mesa County.
