Your new hiking buddy is waiting for you at Mesa County Animal Services

This rescue dog went from waiting for a home to exploring Mesa County's trails! Dazy is a lovely little lady who was recently adopted from Mesa County Animal Services. Now, she hikes and explores the beautiful trails of Mesa County with her owner every day!

Here’s a little info Dazy’s new best friend shared with us about the adoption process. 

“I had a great surprise when I navigated the road construction to get to your facilities in Whitewater. The staff was happy and encouraging, the facilities clean and welcoming,” a Mesa County resident said. “I was allowed to spend some time with the dog I picked, and after some time together with her, adopted Dazy - it was an easy procedure - the paperwork as swift as could be expected.”

Right now, many dogs like Dazy are waiting at Mesa County Animal Services to find their forever adventure buddy.
