To ensure a high quality of work on Mesa County roads and contribute to safe and seamless road travel for all users, the Board of Commissioners approved a $100,000 contract extension to receive Quality Assurance Testing Services in 2024 during their April 16 public hearing.

The quality assurance testing includes inspection, testing, and documentation on approximately five to six major construction projects and 10 to 15 minor construction projects Mesa County Engineering will complete within a year.

Next time you’re driving along County roads, you can have confidence that each path you take was quality tested under the high infrastructure standards Mesa County holds.
