MCDHS hosts final adoption training session April 24th
Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) is gearing up to host our final adoption training session from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24th. This training will take place in the MCDHS Conference Room 1060, 510 29 ½ Road, and is intended for families preparing to finalize their adoption journey.
This session will provide attendees with essential resources and guidance as they transition into permanent family roles. The training covers several key topics:
- Family empowerment team presentation
- Adoption and post-permanency support group
- Post-permanency resource sharing
- Respite and temporary relief
This session will be conducted in person and is highly recommended for those in the final stages of the adoption process. It provides a valuable opportunity for adoptive parents to meet other families, ask questions and connect directly with the MCDHS team.
MCDHS is dedicated to ensuring that adoptive families have all the tools and knowledge needed to provide loving, stable homes for children in their care. For more information and to explore additional resources, please visit www.MesaCountyFosterAdopt.org
