Food Safety Alert: Super Greens recalled due to Salmonella concerns
Live It Up Super Greens products are involved in a national recall. The products are being recalled due to potential Salmonella contamination. The products are sold online nationwide and may have been sold in Mesa County. To date, there have been 45 illnesses and 12 hospitalizations reported that may be in connection to these products.

- Live it Up Super Greens, NET WT 8.5 oz (240g) with UPC 860013190804.
- Live it Up Super Greens, 30 – 0.28oz (8g) sticks, NET WT. 8.47 oz (240g) with UPC 850077468063
- Live it Up Super Greens, Wild Berry, NET WT 8.5OZ (240g), with UPC 860013190811
- Live it Up Super Greens, Wild Berry, 30 – 0.32oz (9g) Sticks, NET WT. 9.52oz (270g), with UPC 850077468070

What consumers should do
- Check pantries for the recalled products and throw them out immediately.
- Consumers can contact Live It Up at recall@artofenso.com to request a refund.
- Contact a doctor right away if you develop symptoms after consuming the recalled products.
Salmonella description and risk
- Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
- Symptoms usually begin six hours to six days after infection and can last four to seven days.
- Most people recover without treatment.
- Salmonella can lead to serious and sometimes deadly infections for young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems.
