Grand Valley Transit Fleet Maintenance Facility Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Mesa County would like to invite the community to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Grand Valley Transit Fleet Maintenance Facility, located at the City of Grand Junction Fleet and Municipal Services Campus at 2553 Riverside Parkway. The ribbon cutting will occur on July 28, 2025 at 3:00pm.

Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), Mesa County has received $7.4M in federal funding to construct the $8.2M fleet maintenance facility to maintain Grand Valley Transit (GVT) buses. The 19,400 square foot facility is a pre-engineered metal building with eight bays as well as a wash bay, office and parts storage, and farebox repair room. This facility is a collaborative effort between the FTA, Mesa County and the City of Grand Junction.  

The building was designed by D2C Architecture and constructed by Buildings by Design.
