KAFM Community Affairs: Western Colorado Job Fair preview
On the third Thursday of every month, Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) hosts a segment on the KAFM Community Affairs Program. This month, Workforce Center Employment Services Supervisor Tabi Britt gives listeners a preview of the upcoming Western Colorado Job Fair.
The Western Colorado Job Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at the Grand Junction Convention Center. The event brings together employers from across the region with job seekers who are eager to work in a wide range of industries right here in Western Colorado.
Employers who are hiring now or planning ahead are encouraged to participate to promote open positions, connect face-to-face with local talent and build relationships that support long-term workforce needs. Space is limited, and employers are encouraged to reserve a booth early.
The Western Colorado Job Fair is presented by the Mesa County Workforce Center and Colorado Mesa University Alumni and Career Services.
Visit the Workforce Center website to learn more about the no-cost services we offer to both employers and jobseekers.
