As our Japanese beetle eradication efforts are going strong, bolstered by partnerships with nurseries, agricultural experts, and government bodies, we still need our community’s support to reach full eradication in the upcoming years.

How can you help?

Residents outside the Japanese beetle hot zone who want to join the fight can treat their lawn with grub control granules such as GrubEx throughout springtime or contact their lawn care provider to complete the service.

This video highlights the efforts and progress Mesa County and its active partners are making to #BeatTheBeetleMesaCounty. Thank you for joining the fight to protect our local agriculture.
