You can find information about parks and related facilities throughout the county on our website. Please keep in mind the facilities listed throughout Mesa County can be located within local municipalities (City of Grand Junction, City of Fruita, and Town of Palisade) and are thus maintained by them. While some facilities are maintained by our department, shelters are served through the City of Grand Junction Parks & Recreation Department.

NOTICE OF WAIVER

Pursuant to C.R.S. 8-17-101 et seq. “Keep Jobs In Colorado Act” (“Act”), Mesa County does hereby provide notice that it has waived the requirements of the Act as it pertains to the Long Family Memorial Park Skatepark Design/Build Project.

Due to the specialized nature of the design/build, Mesa County does find that compliance with the Act would create an undue burden that would substantially prevent this project from proceeding to completion.
