Notice of Valuation for 2023/2024 tax years

2023 NOVs are sent to property owners in Mesa County on May 1, 2023 by mail or email if you as a property owner elected electronic delivery. In addition to identifying the property, the full page NOVs for residential properties contain:

  • Location, market area, and neighborhood
  • Description of the property’s characteristics

Notice of Valuation for 2024 intervening tax year

For most properties, 2024 taxable value will remain the same as that of 2023, as reflected on the 2023 NOV owners receive by mail in May 2023. Property owners will receive a 2024 Notice of Value only if there was some change to the property from 2023. For these properties, the Assessor’s Office must value your property as it exists on January 1, 2024, and determine its probable market value as of June 30, 2022.
