25 & I Drainage Feasibility Project

This project is is a channel improvement project that includes 873 linear feet of an unnamed drainage southwest of the intersection of 25 Road and I Road in Mesa County, Colorado.
A large amount of sediment deposited southwest of the intersection of 25 and I Road, which is causing drainage issues under the road.
This project will restore the stream and ecological functions by restoring the channel downstream of 25 and I road, and restore the sediment transport processes of the channel.
Construction will consist of reestablishing 873 linear feet and a 5-foot width channel with a 2:1 side slope, temporarily stockpiling the material and then landscaping once the material has dried.
