Project Summary
Statements of Qualifications from Consultants interested in performing the
necessary tasks for the Solid Waste Pump House.
Mesa County Solid Waste Management currently serves the freshwater pond at the
Compost Facility through use of a portable Godwin HL110M pump.
It pumps water through an approximately 8,600 ft long HDPE pipeline from the
Gunnison River up to the freshwater pond with an elevation gain of approximately
238 feet
This project is intended to design a vaulted pump house to connect to the existing
HDPE pipeline and allow year-round use of the freshwater pond.
