Facility Description

The Community Building is a great place to hold your next meeting, conference, training, seminar, wedding, birthday, service club event or other special event.

  • The entire building can be rented or just the Sagebrush Room.
  • The kitchen can be used in either situation.
  • Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee.
  • With about 5,000 square feet available and room for approximately 300 guests, the Community Building is a very versatile space that can accommodate many different events.

Capacity

The Community Building can hold approximately 300 people depending on the layout. The rental include tables and chairs, which can be arranged by either the renter or by Fairgrounds staff for an additional fee.

Banquet Style Seating

Rectangular tables are lined up with chairs on one side so all focus is at the front of the room.

Trade Show/Booth Layout

Individual spaces are made to showcase different crafts, projects, or merchandise.

  • Banquets, private parties, receptions, trade shows and meetings.
  • This is a versatile space that can meet many needs.

Fees

  • A damage deposit is required to reserve our facilities.
  • Rental fees are to be paid in full 30 days prior.
  • The damage deposit is refunded by check from the County after the facility has been inspected for possible damages.

Submit facility rental form to inquire about renting this or any other facility available at the Fairgrounds.

Additional Information

Beer and wine can be served only if the following conditions are met:

  • Proof of host liquor liability insurance is established and a certificate is provided to the Fairgrounds prior to the event;
  • Security officers are hired through the Fairgrounds and paid for by the renter which are present during the event;
  • All alcohol is kept inside the building;  and
  • Beer must be served in cans or from a keg.

Cash bar arrangements have different requirements.

  • Food and beverages are allowed in the Community Building including both catered services or "potluck" style meals.
  • A kitchen is available and includes a warming rack, 2 sinks, a refrigerator and a microwave.
  • No cooking or dish washing is allowed on site.
  • Outdoor grilling is allowed with permission.
  • Our facilities are available for rent from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
  • Hours of operation outside these times will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Live bands or a DJ service is allowed with permission.
  • The Community Building has a built in sound system with an available portable sound system for rent.
  • Internet and phone access are also available.
  • Tables and chairs are included with the rental fee.  
  • Room set-up and clean-up services are available for an additional fee.
  • A Bridal Suite is available in the Sagebrush Room which can be rented along with the main room of Community Building.
  • An outdoor Gazebo adjacent to the building is also available to rent for additional space or for a wedding ceremony.
  • Submit Facility Rental Inquiry Form.
  • Staff approval
  • Damage deposit paid to hold your reservation.
  • Rental contract will then be issued for signature.
