The Mesa County Sheriff's Office provides various fingerprinting services. Due to changes in Colorado legislation, the Mesa County Sheriff’s office will no longer provide fingerprint services for non-criminal submissions or to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Please review the information below to find the services that best fit your needs.

Court Ordered Fingerprints

Court Ordered Fingerprints

Court-ordered fingerprints are prints ordered by a Mesa County Judge. These prints may be completed on a walk-in basis at the Mesa County Justice Center.

Non-criminal fingerprinting for Colorado

Non-criminal fingerprint services are available through a Colorado Bureau of Investigations-approved vendor by appointment. You can visit the Employment and Background Checks page on the CBI website to schedule an appointment with an approved vendor. 

This does not include fingerprints required by the Sheriff’s Office.

Fingerprinting for concealed handgun permit applications

Appointments are required for fingerprinting services provided for concealed handgun permit applications. Visit our Concealed Handgun Permit page to complete the online application and schedule your appointment.

Other Fingerprinting Services

Ink fingerprinting is available on a walk-in basis at the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Records Lobby.

  • Fee: $5.00 charge per card
